In that never ending quest of us users trying to consume as much information as quickly as possible, Google has determined that major changes are needed. From Snap’s website:
The 2 million websites and blogs that use Snap.com’s Snap Shots technology now share something with one of the world’s largest Internet companies:
Google, which maintains a website called SearchMash for testing new technologies and interface designs, is using Snap’s website preview technology. The new the SearchMash site uses Adobe’s Flash technology rather than AJAX which is used on the primary SearchMash site and selectively in Google’s main search results.
Said Snap.com CEO and Co-Founder Tom McGovern, “I’ve always loved using SearchMash. Now that it has website previews, there’s just so much more to love.”
