MySpace founders Chris DeWolfe And Tom Anderson interviewed on the NBC Today Show

While working I overheard an interview taking place on the tube (flat panel) and thought it may interest some of my readers. So for those of you that are not aware of the reach or the user base of MySpace then the video is definitely recommended reading. One thing that caught my attention was that over 85% of the users are over the age 18. It is also the fastest growing website with over 1oo million users worldwide. They were some more facts that I cannot remember of the top of my head so you’ll just have to watch it.

Now after you watch it, you should ask yourself is “is their a potentiol to find new markets on social networks such as myspace”?

I couldn’t resist so I went ahead and did a few searches on MySpace and these are the results:

Charlotte NC Real Estate

Results 1 - 10 of about 548 for real estate charlotte nc.

Truck Accessories

Results 1 - 10 of about 3,320 for truck accessories

TV networks and movie studios are also paying attention. Look at how Myspace will allow the main homepage be an advertisement.

Myspace Homepage

If you dedicate the time I am sure you could find some possibilities that would be worth pursuing.

Watch the video, check it out for yourself and come to your own conclusions.
