My DList

If you missed my post about the I follow movement then please head back there to get caught up. Without futher ado here is my list. Please comment in this thread if you join the movement so that I may add you to my list. Cheers!

Just added:

Notify me if you follow and I missed you.

Update: As of 11/29/07 I am disabling the follow plugin.  It seems Google is penalizing me because I am passing PR juice to all my fellow friends.

A nice list you’ve got here, as you suggested, I’d like to comment my own website to the list, the url is http://leftblank.nl, it’s a PR4 blog (on nearly all first/secondary pages) and I’ve got the DoFollow plugin running as well, I do use a delay of two days though, just to make sure no spam will come through.

A little tip; allow commenting by guests, it’s horrible to have to login just to post a reaction, it’ll scare a lot of people away ;)

Registration requirement to post has been removed ;)

  Tinu wrote @ May 19th, 2007 at 11:03 pm

Good for you for turning off registration. I sometimes used turn it on when I’m too busy to answer, or if I hadn’t posted in a while. But I’m posting to say that you should join Andy Beard’s no follow community on BUMPzee - REVOLUTION! lol

Nice list. I’m a fellow follower too. Welcome.

  Kathy wrote @ May 21st, 2007 at 3:29 am

I had “registration required” to leave comments turned on for quite a while because I didn’t know what it was like from the visitor’s point of view. Once I found myself logging in, I realized why I had so few comments on my blog. Better to moderate than put people through that.

Kathy, I just simply forgot about it. Is important every now and then to put yourself in your custumer/visitor’s point of view. Welcome Aaron and Tinu.

I’ve removed Wordpress’ default nofollow as well @ http://www.blog.michellemacphearson.com - but do moderate comments to ensure it’s not abused & that comment spam doesn’t ruin it for my real commentors.

Great list of sites, I’ll have to add a list like that to my site!

PS - I love the design of your blog - is it Qwilm?

  admin wrote @ May 22nd, 2007 at 2:24 am

Michelle,

Same here, so far so good. I haven’t seen an increase as of yet.

i.nconspicuo.us,

It is based on Qwilm. Have you removed your no follow attributes? If so I will add you to my list. I need to add a couple tomorrow as a matter of fact.

I’ve installed the DoFollow plug-in, but my comments area is still a wilderness…

Jack Humphrey wrote @ May 22nd, 2007 at 9:14 am

Feel free to add The Friday Traffic Report to your list.

As the author of Power Linking, I’d hate to be so hypocritical as to have no follow on my own blog!

Great idea for a list btw.
