New Adwords Ad Group Diagnose Keywords Feature
No commentsSay that 5 times fast. Seriously this is a feature you should look for in your ad groups. Instead of having to go to the tools section you can now diagnose all keywords in an ad group at the same time. Look for the feature besides the edit keywords hyperlink when at the keyword view. As an added bonus you can diagnose how the keywords react to different SERPS.
Below are some screen shots.
This looks to be a needed time saver.
Official Google Blog: Making ads more interesting
No commentsI know I haven’t posted in a while but the clientele is keeping me extremely busy. I thought I would go ahead and try to get back in the groove with this:
”Today we are launching “interest-based” advertising as a beta test on our partner sites and on YouTube. These ads will associate categories of interest — say sports, gardening, cars, pets — with your browser, based on the types of sites you visit and the pages you view. We may then use those interest categories to show you more relevant text and display ads.”
“Choice - We have built a tool called Ads Preferences Manager, which lets you view, delete, or add interest categories associated with your browser so that you can receive ads that are more interesting to you.”
Why is Google doing this? Relevency, and hopefully that will trickle down to the clickthrough and conversion rates for our campaigns.
More on this as it comes available. In the meantime here is the full story.
